- ALZIRA CORSI MANTOVANELLI -
FINALIST OF THE COOCACER ARAGUARI QUALITY COFFEE CONTEST 2019
Alzira’s story is deeply intertwined with the history of coffee. The granddaughter and daughter of coffee growers, her ancestors migrated from Southern Minas Gerais to Paraná, following the coffee-growing trail and the new frontiers that were opening up. It was along this path that Alzira, born in Paraná, together with her family, arrived at the new frontier gaining strength in the 1980s: the Cerrado Mineiro Region.
With farmland in the Araguari area, the family, passionate about coffee, began a new chapter in their journey. After the loss of their father, Alzira and her nine siblings took on all the work on the farm. Despite the hardships, their dream of thriving in coffee production strengthened the family business.
Fazenda Irmãos Corsi, located in Araguari, thrives today through the dedication of Alzira and her husband Vantuir, who work tirelessly to produce high-quality, sustainable coffee beans. Their commitment has already yielded positive results: for three consecutive years, the farm’s beans have ranked in Coocacer’s Quality Coffee Competition, achieving first place in 2018.
